ENTRY REQUIREMENT INTO BASIC (IJMB) PROGRAMME
Candidates aspiring to be admitted into the Basic (IJMB) programme to any available centres across the country:
• Must obtain a minimum of five (5) O/L credits from Ordinary Mathematics, English Language and any other three subject written .
• Candidates with awaiting result can also apply, but are to register for an O level Exam(WAEC,NECO and NABTEB) at his/her centre.
• Must have successful passed through the BIO DATA FORM and PRINT HIS/HER FORM after PAYMENT
Thus the subjects offered in this Basic programme are purely Advanced Level Art/Social Science and Science Subjects
Students aspiring to be admitted into the University must:
Have obtained a minimum of 5 points or above in their final exams (this is subject to change when necessary by NUC).
Have purchased Direct Entry (DE) forms after their exams (at least two) to the universities of their choice.
Have remedied all deficiencies (if any)
All IJMB students, as a privilege, are automatically given admission into ABU Zaria without pre-admission screening test. This majorly depends on the result of your final exams.
But other universities like UNILORIN,FUNAAB,FUTMINNA,FUTA e.t.c, set-aside a Direct Entry(DE) pre-admission screening test (POSTUME) by the school for admission, provided they satisfy the afore-listed conditions.
