About 10,000 Nigerian youths are expected to benefit from Mike Omotosho Foundation International Scholarship (MOFIS) scheme to study any course of their choice abroad.
Speaking during the scholarships screening exercise in form, the Chairman and Founder of the Foundation Dr. Mike Omotosho, said the programme was meant to provide financial support to Nigerians studying abroad and raised competent leaders.
Omotosho who was represented by his Special Assistant on Youth and Student Matters, Charles Olufemi Folayan said “as part of our efforts to bridge the gap between theory and practical in our institutions; Mike Omotosho Foundation with its partners have decided to take the bold step of providing access, to gain quality education abroad and hopefully bring this knowledge, expertise and quality back to Nigeria.”
The programme is open to all Nigerians who have at least five credits in their O’ level examinations, seeking to study for their undergraduate or Master’s Degree, he said.
He said: The scholarship is funded by the Foundation and her partners with commitment to give bursary awards to over 10,000 qualified Nigerian students with tuition waivers to study in the UK, Cyprus, Malaysia, India and Russia, he said.
